- I am a student of the arts studying for my Masters degree at the University of South Florida. In my work I make use of the flexibility of drawing and object making to evaluate society. My intentions stem from an interest in cultural critiques, critical studies of social norms and cultural standards that we as a society live by and believe in. I am curious to the values we hold in high regard. By using a variety of media I critique society by using hyperbole, narrative and humor. These evaluations include the studying of social and cultural stereotypes with the body of work entitled “Silhouettes” and the investigation into America’s infatuation with competition in the body of work entitled “Play.”
