This Friday at 5p.m, the final performance for the show Pecking Order Established will take place. I will give a brief talk about the work and its evolution to this final production and then I and another performer, Kriss Kennedy, will enter the sandbox for what will be the final fight in the cage.
Unlike the last two performances this will be open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
My intent is to incorporate the audience into the work. Much like a fight you might witness on a playground, the audience becomes an integral part of the event.
This is really a onetime happening. There will be no trial runs, or practices. The whole performance will last as long as the sandbox stands.
The performance will take place at WSU Tri-Cities in the Consolidated Information Center’s Art Gallery.
